Price is for the following Itinerary:

day 01:  Arrive in Kathmandu and get picked up at the airport and taken to your hotel. Then pre-trip meeting in Kathmandu.

day 02: Drive to Pokhara (900m) by tourist bus - 7 hrs. (A flight to Pokhara is optional for $150 one way)

day 03:  Drive to Nayapul (1010m) - 1 hr. Trek to Tikhedunga (1570m) - 3 hrs.

day 04:  Trek to Ghorepani (2840m) - 5 hrs.

day 05: Hike up to Poon Hill (3210m) and trek to Tadapani (2610m).

day 06: Trek to Chomrong (2140m) - 5 hrs.

day 07: Trek to Dovan (2400m) - 6 hrs.

day 08: Trek to Deurali (3300m) - 6 hrs.

day 09: Trek to Annapurna Basecamp (4237m) - 7 hrs.

day 10 (Dec. 30): Trek back to Bamboo (2345m) - 6 hrs.

day 11: Trek to Jhinu hot spring (1780m) - 5 hrs.

day 12: Trek to Nayapul (1010m) - 4,5 hrs. Drive to Pokhara and stay overnight in a hotel

day 13: Take a tourist bus from Pokhara to Kathmandu - 7 hours (optional 45 minute flight for US$150 per person)

day 14: Transfer to Kathmandu airport and fly home.

Detailed Itinerary:

day 01 | Pre-trip meeting
Your guide will welcome you at your hotel for a pre-trip meeting. You are introduced to any porters you request and we talk about the trekking route. A great time for any questions or requests.

Note: Please make sure you bring your passport to the meeting along with three copies and a readable copy of your travel insurance policy. During this meeting we sign the legally binding trip form as well as the non-liability disclaimer.

day 02 | Drive to Pokhara - 7 hrs.
Early morning we pick you up at the hotel and bring you to the bus station. The bus to Pokhara leaves at around 7:30 am. Once in Pokhara you will see a beautiful valley set on the banks of the Phewa Lake. It is also known for its panoramic views of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre (with the shape of a fish tail) in the north, Dhaulagiri in the west, Lamjung Himal and Manaslu in the east. Pokhara is smaller and much less hectic than Kathmandu, hence it is the perfect starting point for our trek.

day 03 | Drive to Nayapul and trek to Tikhedunga - 3 hrs.
After a 1-hour drive with a private vehicle from Pokhara we begin our trek at Nayapul. After a short 15-minute walk along the banks of the Modi Khola we reach Birethanti (1015m), a large village with many shops and teahouses. From there, the trail continues through the village and follows the northern bank of the Bhurungdi Khola. The trail climbs steadily up the side of the valley to Hille at 1495m and after a short climb, we reach Tikhedhunga at 1570m. Today’s walk is relatively short and easy, a prelude to the trekking experience in the Annapurna region.

day 04 | Trek to Ghorepani - 5 hrs.
We move on towards the steep climb to Ulleri, a large Magar village at an altitude of 2070m. From this point the trail ascends more gently through fine forests of oak and rhododendrons towards Banthanti (2250m). From there we trek towards Nangethanti (2460m) and one more hour later we arrive at Ghorepani (2840m) where we spend the night.

day 05 | Hike up to Poon Hill and trek to Tadapani.
Very early in the morning, if possible an hour before sunset, we start a one hour hiking to Poon Hill (3210m) for a brilliant mountain range spectacle. This vantage point provides an stunning panorama view of the sunrise over the high Himalayas. Here we spend about an hour before we return to Ghorepani for hot breakfast. Then we pack our bags again and set off for a climb along ridges, and through pine and rhododendron forests to Deurali (2960m). After that we descend to the Banthanti when after we turn off to Tadapani.

day 06 | Trek to Chomrong - 5 hrs.
The day starts with a steep downhill walk through rhododendron forests and descend through the forests. As we approach Gurjung which is the village of the Gurung people the trail eases. Then there’s only an easy walk left to Chomrong (2140m).

day 07 | Trek to Dovan - 6 hrs.
A very similar day to the previous day, but we head into the narrow that leads to ABC.

day 08 | Trek to Deurali - 7 hrs.
Today the trail climbs towards the Hinko Cave near Deurali.

day 09 | Trek to Annapurna Basecamp.
Today the trail climbs on past the Hinko Cave, and then Machhapuchhre Basecamp. This isn’t a real basecamp since climbing the mountain is not allowed. This area is totally surrounded by mountains and known as the Annapurna Sanctuary. After trekking two hours from Machhapuchhre Basecamp you are in Annapurna Basecamp (ABC) at elevation of 4130m. There you have very much rewarded unobstructed views of mountain scenery. It’s spectacular.

day 10 | Trek back to Bamboo - 6 hrs.
Now we follow the same trail down and descend 1700 meters to the bank of Modi Khola to Bamboo (2345m). Here are a few teahouses available where we stay.

day 11 | Trek to Jhinu hot spring - 5 hrs.
We follow the same trail until Chomrong. Once we have passed Khuldighar the trail continues through rhododendron and bamboo fields. From Chomrong the trail descends very steeply to Jhinu hot spring where you can bathe in a delightful natural hot spring, located in a narrow jungle valley right next to a raging river.

day 12 | Trek to Nayapul - 4/5 hrs - and drive to Pokhara
From Jhinu hot spring we walk along the right side of Modi Khola for 4,5 hrs to Birethanti. This part of the trek can be considered as one of the best and most relaxing walks of the entire route. We reach Nayapul from where a one hour drive will take us back to the hotel Pokhara.

day 13 | flight back to Kathmandu and farewell dinner. take a 45 minute flight back to Kathmandu. The evening before you depart, there will be a farewell dinner that is both good food and a cultural experience.
